Beginning Sunday, May 25th through Auguat 31st, our Sunday morning worship services will be held at 9:00 AM.  We will also be changing our midweek service to Monday evening at 6:30 PM.  Communion will continue to be on the 1st and 3rd Sunday's of the month. 

Join us Wednesday, March 26th as we begin a new study for the the college students.  We will be looking at the book, The Spirituality of the Cross by Dr. Gene Veith, a professor at our Concordia - Mequon campus.  We will examine the varying ways in which people search for spiritual fulfillment in today's culture.  We will find the true journey always leads us to the foot of the cross!  Books will be provided for all participants and there is no cost!  As usual, refreshments of many sorts will be provided!  Class begins at 8:00 PM.  See you there. 

A brand new defibrillator has been donated to Faith!  We will be having two training sessions on how to use this defibrillator.  Both sessions will be on Tuesday, March 11th in our Student Center.  The first class will be from 12:00-1:00 PM and the second class will be from 7:30 PM-8:30 PM.  There is no cost and everyone is invited to attend one of these sessions.  Thanks to the La Crosse Fire Department for leading these classes!   

All college students are invited to a Campus Ministry retreat at Camp LuWiSoMO from Friday, Feb. 1st to Sunday, Feb. 3rd.  There is no cost to this retreat!  This will be a weekend of fun, fellowship, and Bible study.  We will be studying "King David and the contrasts of his life."   We will leave Faith around 6:00 Friday evening and return about noon on Sunday.  If you would like to go, please contact Pastor Mundinger for more information.  Thank you! 

During the Christmas break, there will be no Wednesday evening Bible study.  We will resume our study on Wednesday, January 30th at 7:30 PM. 

Based on the congregational survey recently completed, it has been decided to change the Saturday evening service to a Wednesday evening service at 6:30PM.  Beginning with our Thanksgiving Eve service on Wed., Nov. 21st, all subsequent mid-week services will be on Wednesday evening.  The final Saturday evening service will be on November 17th.  We hope that this new service on Wednesday evenings will better serve the needs of those who are travelling on the weekend and cannot attend on Sunday morning. 

Students and members alike are invited to a special Thanksgiving Dinner at Faith following the church service on November 18th.  We will serve turkey and all the trimmings.  There will be sign up sheets in the narthex for attending as well as bringing a dish to pass.  Join us as we give thanks to God for all His blessings to us!

Everyone is invited to attend a special workshop on Sat., November 10th from 9-12 PM.  We will be focusing on the vision statement for Faith and developing some important initiatives for us to work towards based on our vision.  Rev. Wayne Schroeder will be facilitating this meeting.  Please come and have your voice heard!

All voting members of the congregation are encouraged to attend the upcoming October voter's meeting  this Sunday at 9:00 AM.  Among other the items to be discussed will be the slate of candidates to serve as officers and elders for the next year. 

All congregational members are invited to attend two special meetings coming up on Saturday, October 20th and Saturday, November 10th.   These meetings will run from 9:00 am till noon.   Rev. Wayne Schroeder (former mission and ministry exec for the District) will be our presenter.  The purpose of these meetings is to expand on the work accomplished with NCD related to vision and strategic initiatives.  The goal is to identify 2-3 areas that we can work toward to accomplish the vision of Faith Lutheran Church.  All church members are encouraged to attend! 

Haven't had enough brautwurst?  Here's your chance to have some more.  Join us after church this Sunday, October 7th for a luncheon of brats and kraut as we say good-bye to Oktoberfest! We'll even have Root Beer and some pies for dessert.  Veggie brats will also be available.  No need to bring anything except your appetite.  There will also be a pie auction following the dinner. 

Students...Have you ever been intimidated by the Book of Revelation and all of the symbology and mystery associatied with the last book of the Bible?  Just how are we Lutherans supposed to interpret all of the signs and language of Revelation?  Please join us Wednesday, September 19th at 7:30 PM in the Faith Student Center as we begin a new Bible study on the Book of Revelation.   This is a video based study produced by Dr. Louis Brighton from the St. Louis Seminary.  All students are invited for an evening of study and fellowship.  We'll see you there!

Our neighbors at Shepherd of the Hills in Onalaska have invited us to join them on Sunday, September 23rd for an afternoon of laughter and fellowship in Minneapolis for a presentation of "Church Basement Ladies."  The cost will be $40.00 per person which includes your ticket and bus ride to Minneapolis.  The bus will leave Sunday morning from Onalaska and return that evening.  Everyone who has seen this play has said it is hilarious.  Please call the church office at 782-3696 to register or to get further information.   

Please join us as we kick off another year of Christian Education at Faith!  Sunday School, High School Youth Group, and Adult Bible class will begin at 9:15 AM on September 9th.  College students are invited to attend as well.  The adult class is called "Lost in America."  We will be looking at how the church can be effective in a world increrasingly "lost" and searching for answers.  Jesus is that answer!  Learn how we can reach those lost people with the Good News of Jesus Christ!

Welcome back students!  All students are welcome to a student/congregational potluck dinner on Sunday, September 9th at 12:00 PM as we begin another year of worship, study and fellowship at Faith.   Invite a friend for this time of food and fellowship.   

Same date, different place!!!  Due to the recent flooding, Goose Island Park will not be open for our church picnic.  We are moving our worship and picnic to Veteran's Memorial Park in West Salem instead.  Join us for our outdoor worship service on August 26th at 10:30 AM.  We will be meeting at shelter #4 for worship followed by our church picnic.   We will be providing meat for grilling.  Please bring a dish to pass.  We will be welcoming the Coulee Chordsman who will be performing during the worship service.  Everyone is invited to attend!

Join us Aug. 20th -24th for our Vacation Bible school called "Quest for Truth."  VBS will run from 9:00 - 11:00 AM each day at Faith Lutheran Church.  We will have a week of fun and fellowship as we learn about the love of Christ with games, crafts, Bible stories, and delicious snacks.  Everyone from age 3 through grade 6 is invited.  There is no cost.  Please call 782-3696 to register or come on the 20th to register!  We'll see you there.
