Pastor Paul J Mundinger is the son of Lois Mundinger and the late Donald Mundinger.
He was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison where he earned his Food Science degree in 1983. from 1983-1986 he worked for Oscar Mayer in Chicago, Illinois as a Quality Control Supervisor. For seven years prior to entering the seminary he worked as a Technical Service Representative for Silgan Containers Corp. in St. Paul, Minnesota and Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
Pastor Mundinger began studying for the ministry in June of 1993. He vicared at St. John's Lutheran Church in Osage, Iowa and graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana in May 1998. Pastor Mundinger's first call was to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hinckley, Minnesota where he was ordained and installed on July 19, 1998. He also served Grace Lutheran Church in Omro, Wisconsin from March, 2001 till June, 2007.
Pastor Mundinger and Kelli (Weiss) were married on December 31, 1989 in Onalaska, Wisconsin. Kelli has extensive banking experience with Northwest Bank in Minneapolis. In addition she worked as a Special Education Aid in the Hinckley High School for three years as well as the Berlin Middle School for the last six years. Kelli currently works for Coulee Bank in Onalaska.
The Mundingers have two sons – Andrew, 18, is a freshman at Concordia University Wisconsin and is a member of the National Guard and Benjamin, 16, who is a junior at Logan High School and a member of the cross country and basketball teams.
